Love this kit. Although the shutter is pretty loud, it’s a full-frame rangefinder with a solid meter, bright viewfinder, aperture priority, and with this 40/1.4 it’s still super sharp and renders film like Portra in beautific color. It is a superb kit. And I love that lens hood. It’s just cool. You know?

Pretty sure this is Leica CL with Summicron-C 40mm/f2.0 and Tri-x. But I can’t be certain of anything anymore. It could just as well be CN400, but I don’t think so. Someday I’ll have to dig out the negatives.

Out of all the gazillion photos I have on flickr, this one is by far the most viewed…almost 1000 views, 8 favorites. Go figure. Don’t you dare tell me film is dead. BTW it’s a Leica MP and Summicron 50mm f2.0 (that’s why it’s got so many hits, people search those keywords).
